Shades State Park apparently used to be formerly known as "Shades of Death" due to apparently a few murders that happened there. As well as
specticales such as Devil's Backbone and the Devil's Punch Bowl. It just screams Death to me.
Had a wonderful weekend camping in upper 90 degrees heat. We hiked approximately 6.5 miles on Saturday, according to John's GPS. Then Sunday we did a short river trip where we Christina and I kyacked and the others canoed down Sugar Creek. |
