Hershey, PA
Spent the majority of the last week in Hershey, PA; "The Sweetest Place on Earth." Overall it was a good time, but the booth setup and teardown was a bit stressfull. Electrical problems which forced us to rip up half the booth to fix to shipping company problems which most likely cause problems when we get to Boston in a couple weeks. Can't wait for that.
This show used our 40' booth. The booth space was only 16' wide though, made for a tight configuration. The high tower section had to be completely disassembled after it was together, because the idiots at the hotel thought the electrical problem was in the floor. Turns out it was a breaker in the electrical room...Grrrr...
While we were there, of course we had to make a visit to Hershey's Chocolate World!! it has the nations largest candy store, and a cheesy type ride going through the manufacturing process fo Hershey's candies. It was pretty cool, I picked up a couple of shirts. I didn't need to buy chocolate, there was enough everywhere I went. When you checked into Hershey Lodge, they gave you chocolate bars, when they cleaned your room, they left you chocolate, when you went to pretty much any restaurant, you got chocolate, and there were baskets fo Hershey Kisses pretty much everywhere.
In this pic, you can see George (left) and Andy (right). they wanted their pictures taken I guess.

Big Storm Go Boom
A large tree broke apart and fell, blocking the roand about a block from us.
And since I have the new paint job, and her car could use a new one, I got the garage for the evening.
A large storm system, that was the size of 1/4 of our country threatened us all day yesterday. You couldn't turn around without seeing the weather map on someones computer, or someone talking about it. The storm was to contain severe thunderstoms, high winds, large hail, and possibly tornados. I left work early, as I had to get to the back before the lobby closed. At approx 3:15 I ran into a wall of rain so hard you couldn't see. T,e road was flooded and you could barely drive, and I watched as the temperature gauge on my truck went from 80 to 65 in about 5 seconds. I left the highway and took the backroads (less traffic). About then the rain stopped. that was it, less then 10 minutes. And that was the last of that HUGE storm I was to see all night. And yet, we lost power for 5 hours! Less then ten minutes of Hell, and we lost power. Good 'ol NIPSCO.
Yesterday it was 80, today, it's 45. Gotta love Indiana.

Apparently
Apparently I left my ATM card in the ATM machine yesterday when I stopped by. Problem is, they aren't going to service the machine until tomorrow.
Suck.

Could it really happen?
Could a lifeless monster really breath new fire? Has the world come to an end? Is Armageddan among us? The Grey's are watching and they are happy. The germans built a coo-coo clock, let's see if it ticks....

Camping
Spent 4 days camping with my friends for a Bachelor Party. Had alot of fun, and did not want to come back home. That ment returning to work the next day. Bleh. Did some hiking, some exploring, some archery, and some fishing. And alot of making fun of each other. It was a grand 'ol time!
This is one of the many pics I took while I was exploring the lakeside by myself. it reminded me of "Footprints in the Sand." So I snapped a picture of it. One of my friends here at work asked if "Our Mighty Father was carrying me." I replied with "No, I was being good. He was back at camp keeping watch of my friends." I'll see about getting the rest of the pictures up in the next couple of weeks.

My Baby
I spent 5 days in Atlantic City last week. I had a pretty good time, although I lacked much sleep by the time it was over. Between noon on Wednesday and 2PM on Friday when I got home, I only had 3 hours of sleep. And then only another 3 more hours before 3AM Saturday morning! I did not come home with more money than I left with, but I did not come home with less either. In fact I put 1 (read it ONE) dollar into a slot machine Monday night, and by the end of Wednesday, that one dollar was $1900. BUT, as per usual I got greedy and stupid and bet beigger and lost it all. But hey, I only lost a dollar!
So anyways, the trade show was pretty good. This was the first time I was left in charge of the booth on opening day. And I slept in. Apparently I don't know the difference between AM and PM on the alarm clock. But I did make it to the show only 10 minutes after opening. So pretty much disaster avoided.
These are pics of our booth. This is the small booth in the island configuration. It's 30 feel long, and stands 13 feet high. Both our booths are modular, and can be set in a variety of positions and heights. The large booth, which i will try and get pictures of at a later date, is 40' long and can stand 16' tall.
