Merry Christmas

So like a month ago, we got a boatload of snow. At least a foot. It's been very cold since that day, mostly in the 20's. One day it reached intot he 40, then quickly went back to the low 20's or even teens. The snow never went away, it stayed in it's glistening white beauty. Well abut 2 days ago, it got above 40. The snow has been slowly melting. Yesterday, it rained, melting away even more. The one day a year you 100% WANT there to be snow, and most of it will be gone!! Gah!

Merry Christmas Everyone. God Bless.

Immobility

I have one week and one day until I go on vacation for the remainder of the year. And I cannot motivate myself to do anything.

Gee, I wonder what next monday is going to be like, since it's the ONLY day I work next week!

Truck Pics

Took some nice pics of the truck over the weekend for ya. I have been informed by a few people that this is not Burnt Orange, but rater Amber Fire, a variation of Burnt Orange. I guess I am going to have to take it to the dealer to find out!

She's Home!

Brought the truck home today! Yes I feel special. I was quite surprised to figure out that the truck had a remote start already installed! I was planning on buying one, but now, don't need to! Sweet! Tomorrow will actually be the first day that I get to see the truck in the daylight. And the rims aren't all that bad as I thought they were. To me,they just look off for the color of the truck.

New Truck!

Awww! The sweet sound of justification! Ok well anyways, Friday I bought new truck! Well new for me anyways. It's a 2001 Dodge Ram Quat Cab Sport, jsut like I had, except instead of yellow, it's Burnt Orange. I've never seen a Ram that color, only Dakotas. I'm stoaked. I get to pick it up This week, hopefully Tuesday.

There are a couple things I don't like about ti, all which can be fixed. First, the rims are UGLY as hell. Apparently the previous owner had nice rims on the truck, and then when we got rid of the truck, he kept the rims and put on crappy cheap used replacements. Then I do believe this truck was owned my a hillbilly. There are 4" blocks liftiong up the rear of the truck. And they chopped the exhaust off right behind the cab. Those are going to get fixed sooner rathetr than later. But all in all, it's cool! I'll post pictures when I get the truck!

Memory Awsomeness

I finally got my new memory in and installed on "nuprin," my main computer. It's a set of Corsair TWINX2048-3200PRO. it’s 2Gb of awesome power! It has neat little LED's on it to tell you how much memory you are using at any given point in time. And it is fast! I never knew how much memory programs used! Photoshop screams now, my frag on Halo is lower, I am able to do many more tasks at once now. It’s just a great addition! Click "Read On" below too see pictures.

The main reason I bought it was to transfer the old 1Gb of Samsung memory to my secondary computer, "dad." My father gave this computer to me because neither he, nor the people he bought it from could get it to run consistently. It's a descent PC: AMD Athalon XP 3000+ chip, Chaintech motherboard, and had 512Mb of RAM. It’s too good to just throw away. It would randomly give a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). I took it, reformatted it, and tried to reinstall windows XP. Upon doing so, it kept giving a BSOD stating that the memory was bad. So now the memory is replaced, and I tried again. And again, I got the BSOD, but it was no longer giving memory errors, but random errors, and every time was different. So with the advise of a friend, I tore the computer down and checked all the jumpers settings. It turns out, the people who built the computer tried over clocking it with the jumpers, doing so against my dad's wishes. I rest the jumpers, and the computer has been working flawlessly since! I am under the impression that had I caught that earlier, the memory may not have been needed.
