Memorial Weekend

I went through a whole three day weekend without writing here, and still have nothing exciting to say. That's not to say i didn't have an exciting weekend, but it'd jsut take way too long to put it all here. And I never get online long enough from home to do anything about it.

I think I saw pretty much every friend I can remember this weekend. Hung out with a different group every night. It was a good weekend to say the least, didn't do a whole lot of actual work. I need more of those!

Friday

You know, I can't tell you how glad I am it's friday. Funny, so far I've only been here one day this week. And I am already sick of it. Tell's ya something huh? Well, a change may be in order. Next thursday, I have an intervier for an open engineering position in the engineering department. Yes, still here. But that's not all that i am trying for, trust me.

Back!

Got back from New Orleans last night!
Not a bad time, despite the fact that AIR TRAN lost our luggage! Yes lost, like for two whole days, they had NO CLUE as to where it was! It originally ended up in Savannah, GA. When we went to see the Air Tran luggage people at the New Orleans airport, she sayd "Well, your bags were tagged for Savannah, you should have checked them before you gave them to security." I wanted to bitch slap that chick right there for that. Well anyways, the bags were supposed to be sent back to us the next day, but they missed their flight in Atlanta? How, i don't know. SO thenw ere "supposed" to be sent again, the next day. But by then, they just disapeared. Completely gone. They were found again Monday night, and they agreed to send them overnight via FedEx. We got them tuesday. We went home wednesday.

Other than that, we had fun! Walked like a kagillion miles. Had 4 walking tours, visited numerous museums, ate all kinds of food, had a steamboat ride, and many other things. It was a good time. Now to get rid of all these blisters on my feet...

Laura was mentioning on her Blog that she feels that it's been kinda quiet over there lately. HA! Look at how many comments I get, practically none. I know people read this, but no one cares to comment. I actually look forward to comment spam, at least then I have something to read.

Ouchie

So I was working on my car on saturday. I was attemping to get the flywheel off of the old motor with a 2ft breaker bar. The bolt I was was trying to untighted suddely came untightened. and next thing I know, my finger was caught between the breaker bar and the head. OUCH! Trust me, it looked MUCH worse than the picture shows. I split my finger open from near the middle side of the finger nail all the way through the first knuckle. It bruised all the way round.

I know I haven't been posting much lately. But it's alot nicer outside. When I go home, I spend my time out there. Works been alot busier too, I don't get much of a chance to post.

Pomp and Circumstance

Last night I officially graduated from college! Hurray! To my parents satisfaction I walked the aisle and took my diploma. Shook the hand of the President of Purdue, a board member, and the Chancellor of PNC. I was all dressed up in the cap and gown. 495 students graduated last night.

U2 ROCKS!

OMFGLOL!1!!!!!

Christina and I went to the third of 4 U2 shows in Chi-Town last night. It was just incredible. And they were even taping the show, so there were cemeras everywhere. U2 played for a good 2 and a half hours. New stuff plus all the classics. 3 encores. WOW. Probably one of the best concerts I've ever been too. If you ever get the chance (assuming you like them) I recommed seeing them!

Smal Package

So last night was the first time in my life I ever fed a baby. We went to my sisters to get our hair cut and see my neice. She's still very cute! She started crying when I was holding her, so I got to feed her. Awww. My sis and Christina scrambled for the camers, so when I get the pic, I'll put it up here.

New Feelings

So I get to work today, and have no backpack with me.
This is the first time since, well, I don't know when. Even in the summers I carry it because of summer classes, or preparinmg for summer classes.
I felt naked walking into work today.

Goodbye

I finished up my last final of my last class last night! I am so overwhelmed, I don't even know how to act! 7.5 years, wow. Mostly part time mind you.
