Stupid People
When at a stop light, and you are sitting next to the the guy on the bike you almost killed a couple miles up the road, what do you say to them?
Apparently it's "I didn't mean to almost hit you, your bikes so small I didn't see ya!"
I'm freaking covered in yellow lady! My jacket, my bike, it's all yellow! And she saw me, because she looked right at me, then started to pull out, then stopped, looked at me again, and then started to pull out again. And then stopped. Meanshile I've got the back brake locked up and I'm just laying on the horn. She was three-quarters in my lane, and I had to drive in a yard to avoid hitting her. I wish shooting stupid drivers was legal.....

more geek toys
As if my current computer setup isn't enough (see July 2), I managed to get an old Pentium 2 desktop computer that I am going to setup as a server. I bought one of those 2 way KVM switches, and attempted to hook it up last night. It worked pretty well, except fot the keyboard. The keyboard worked when it was switched to the server computer, but not the main computer. Weird. Gotta do a little more checking, it was late and I just went to bed instead of screwing with it.

back again!
Well, for awhile I had changed the site to get back at a few guys at work. They were nice enought o make fun of me anc then photochop some pics to place around work. I made sure they were gratified by sabatoging my own site. I wrote script that created never ending pop-ups, half of which redirected you to a porn site. And visiting porn sites at work is never a good thing....

new toys
Just yesterday I got and installed my new PNY Verto GeForce FX5200 PCI 128MB DDR Video Card! That is a dual VGA card, and it runs the 2 15" monitors. MY ATi Radeon 7500 All-In-Wonder runs my primary 19" monitor. At the time of the picture, I had a filter video going on the left monitor, I was watching Howard Stern on cable TV on the center, and the TV controls were on the right. I haven't been able to connect to the cable internet though, since sunday afternoon. I called tech support yesterday (which you cannot call from a SPRINT cell phone!) and they are sending a tech out today. They think my cable modem went kaput (hence as to why it is laying sideways on the shelf).
Oh, and my desk is NEVER this clean, most of the stuff from it is on the kitchen table. I need to aquire another desk.

outside work
Christina and I spent every available minute of the nice weather from Wed. to Sun. doing yardwork. Trimming trees, transplanting plants, planting grass, weeding and planing new flowers. The part of our yard not torn up my the construction of the garage (which is now on it's 8th month!) looks pretty good.
